She was so appreciative, and she would always say her dream if she won the lotto was to have a personal driver. During those drives, we just talked. She was one of the few people who I ever felt really respected me and validated what I had been through. I learned more about her and what she overcame. Those car rides meant, and still mean, everything to me. It was the kind of relationship I had been craving since my mom died, and one that has left a profound emptiness inside me. But I also know that many people had special relationships with her, and I hope we can share them on here to keep her alive in our hearts and our day to days. less
