Kevin Conlon was born in Chico, CA on June 3, 1953.  He is the son of Charles P. “Pat” Conlon and Jane Conlon Cunningham, and he was the stepson of Foriest M. Cunningham.  He is survived by his wife, Judy Hudnall Conlon and two wonderful children, Stacy M. Conlon, who now lives in Greenbrae, CA with her husband Hendrik Paul, and Brian P. Conlon, now living with his wife Erica Vautier and their daughter, Chase, his granddaughter.  Brian now lives in Carlsbad, CA.  He has two stepchildren, Darla Davenport and Steven Davenport, both from Austin, TX.  Kevin also survived by his brother, Dennis Conlon, of Carlsbad, CA, his wife Cindi and his sister, Susan Conlon Heinsch, of Portland, Oregon. 

He spent much of his elementary school years in Portland, Oregon and attended middle school and high school in Walnut Creek, CA.  He was involved in varsity athletics and student government.  

In 1971, he received a Congressional appointment to attend the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.  After graduating from West Point in 1975, he was commissioned as a regular Army officer in the Field Artillery, attended a number of military training schools and was stationed with the 4th Infantry Division at Ft. Carson, CO for nearly 5 years.  He was married 1976 - 1989 to Janice Cope Conlon, with whom he had his children. 

In 1980, Kevin left the Army to join Applied Materials, Inc. in the semiconductor capital equipment industry and lived in Los Gatos, CA for most of the 18 years that he worked in the Silicon Valley.  He earned his MBA from Santa Clara University in 1984.  He married his wife, Judy, in 1993.  In 1998, Kevin joined Palomar Technologies, Inc. where he was promoted to CEO in 2000.  In 2006, he left the technology space along with his business partner Jeffrey King, to co-found Meridian Pacific Properties, a very successful residential builder and real estate investment company that continues to operate in the Memphis, TN metro area. 

Kevin felt he lived a very fulfilling life.  More than anything he valued the great times being with his family, the greatest joy of his life.  He also had the privilege to travel all over the world many times on both business and family vacations.  The travel experience fueled his love of hiking, being in nature, appreciating wildlife, enjoying wonderful foods and wines, experiencing some fascinating cultures and making new friends. 

Kevin was blessed with good fortune and wanted to share and give back.  He started a non-profit foundation, the Personal Life Skills Foundation, dedicated to educating and motivating people who are committed to improving their financial and personal well-being.
