OBITUARY

Keesha Nichelle Tribett was born on January 14th, 1976 in Chicago, IL, to Juanice Tribett and biological father Charles Smith. Keesha was raised by both Juanice and adopted father, Donald Epps. From a young age, Keesha was gifted with the innate ability to make any situation instantly positive through laughter and logic; and an uncanny aptitude for problem-solving. Keesha was raised by both Juanice and adopted father, Donald Epps. From a young age, Keesha was gifted with the innate ability to make any situation instantly positive through laughter and logic; and an uncanny aptitude for problem-solving. These strengths would be put to the test throughout the course of her life, as Keesha both navigated and ultimately prevailed, against innumerable life challenges that would have broken a lesser person. Throughout her life, Keesha was repeatedly awarded "Most Likely to Succeed" at both family functions and educational ceremonies; and succeed she did. After her eldest daughter was diagnosed with encephalitis at the tender age of 3 years old. Keesha became immersed in the Healthcare field. Along with learning about her daughter's diagnosis, Keesha became certified in several aspects of her child's treatment; to the astonishment and admiration of Chantelle's entire medical team. Keesha was also courageous when it came to life. She was usually the first of her friends and family, to try new things or lifestyle changes. In her own unique way, Keesha was both a trailblazer and trendsetter to her family. After conquering medical Healthcare, Keesha felt change was needed, and made the bold decision to relocate her family to Arizona. In the last 11 years of her life, Keesha became a stand-out in Behavioral health; earning several accolades and awards, while serving as an integral part of dozens of clients success and recovery stories. Keesha was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Her beautiful smile, infectious laughter and fearless outlook on life will forever be missed. Keesha leaves behind to cherish her memory, four amazing daughters Deysia Tribett, Shydale Tribett, Victoria Barnes and D'Maria Harden. Keesha also leaves behind her mother Juanice Tribett, stepfather Donald Epps, brother Antonio Epps, sister DiSean Epps, special niece Kiara Epps and special cousin Precious Spencer, along with a host of aunts, uncles and family and friends, to cherish her memory. Keesha was preceded in death by her eldest daughter Chantelle Breanna Tribett, brother Donald Juan Epps and maternal grandmother Dale Harrell. "God saw the road was getting rough and the hills hard to climb; He gently closed thy weeping eyes and whispered "Peace be Thine."."
