For I know that my Redeemer lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth. And after my skin has been thus destroyed, yet in my flesh I shall see God.
Kaylee Davidson was born in Mesa, Arizona on January 22, 2004.
She later moved to Denver, Colorado with her father, Kareem Davidson, where she lived with him and Jessica Davidson. The family relocated to High Point, North Carolina in 2019, where she attended High Point Central High School.
Kaylee was a bold and brilliant light in the world, with a smile that inspired everyone who ever met her. Kaylee loved life, and she ran fearlessly into it with passion. She loved to laugh and make other people laugh with her. Kaylee played basketball, volleyball, ran track, and did gymnastics. She was full of energy, joy, curiosity, and playfulness. She was infinitely curious, she loved learning about how things worked and why, and wanted to see, do, and learn everything about the world. She loved her friends, family, good food, car shows, music, and making memories. Kaylee was as courageous as she was free, and she will live on in all of us forever.
Kaylee is survived by her parents Kareem and Jessica Davidson, her siblings Kareem Jr., Daniel, Kashus, and Asya, and her birth mom Sareena Ford and half-sister Kareden. She leaves behind her grandparents Mikal Abdul-Mateen, Davida Davidson, Lorna and Kerry Landrum, and her many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was and will always be loved and treasured.
So you have pain now; but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.
