Kathleen (Kitty) Wille (née Bagan), 62, of Minneapolis, MN, peacefully passed away in her home, surrounded by family, on November 21, 2021 after a hard-fought battle with melanoma.
Kitty was born on January 15, 1959 in Waseca, MN to George Robert Bagan and Helen Frances Bagan (née Cunningham). After graduating from Sacred Heart High School, she studied Geography at Mankato State University and later returned to earn a Master's degree in Computer Science, kicking off a career in the technology field.
Kitty had a dynamic spirit; she loved to travel and was a lifelong runner and biker. She had a penchant for drawing and her art often accompanied hand-written letters and cards. She additionally enjoyed putting together photo albums and watching horror movies. However, more than anything else, she loved spending time with her loved ones and is remembered by many for the support she provided through hard times.
Kitty is survived by her children, Jacqueline Wille, James Wille, and Michael Wille; sister, Patricia (Gordon) Frisk; brother-in-law, Robert (Rosalie) Farley; sister-in-law, Claudette Bagan; nieces; nephews; and many more family members and friends. She is reunited in death with her parents, grandparents, brothers Michael and Tom Bagan, sister Maureen Farley, and niece Melissa Gerdts (née Farley).
In accordance with Kitty's wishes, no wake or funeral will be held. The family asks those who wish to honor Kitty's memory to make a donation to the Skin Cancer Foundation or Melanoma Research Foundation, participate in your area's next Relay for Life, or go out for a run or bike ride in her honor.
