    希望2022年9月9日的山打根，是晴朗藍天满满的，要用最接近你在我們記憶中的形象送别你。縱然，没藍天，也不打緊，生命有遇到不可預估的情節，才是他的真締。

    感激你在大家的生命出現過，你未必時常在我們當中是領航者，但永遠是咀巴笑笑的眼晴閃閃的支持者，足够了。感謝你一路的成全，跟大伙一齊創造我們的歷史，足够了。

    我們的年代，没‘暖男’這稱號，但現在說你是，誰敢說不是。

    跟大伙走過的路，没很長；但回憶，都實在，很彩色，我們會放著很久很久，很久。

    This is the last photo I took with John during my last visit back to Sandakan in Aug 2019. You were always cheerful, warm and smiley. Deeply saddened by your passing. Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. Rest in peace, my friend.

    I was with John both in primary and secondary school but were in different classes. Deeply saddened by his sudden demise. May his soul rest in peace.
