OBITUARY
John P. Grasso, 87 died Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Marlborough hospital after a period of failing health.
John was predeceased by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Louise (Martin) Grasso. He is survived by his two sons, and two daughters. Elaine Duesel and her husband Earl, John P. John was predeceased by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Louise (Martin) Grasso. He is survived by his two sons, and two daughters. Elaine Duesel and her husband Earl, John P. Grasso Jr, and his wife Eleanor, Christine Grasso, and Mark Grasso and his wife Lori. He is survived by his 11 grandchildren, Deanna Pryal, John Donahue, Kaitlyn Fernandes, Kristen Stoetzel, Amanda Viveiros, Madelyn Grasso, Michael Garceau, Samantha Merrill, Mark Grasso Jr, Kyle Grasso and Alexandra Grasso, and 8 great-grand children, Felicity Pryal, Emmeline Stoetzel, Morgen Stoetzel, Elianna Donahue, Jose Fernandes Jr, Skyla Garceau, Adalyn Grasso and Avery Grasso.
John was the son of Andonetta and Ralph Grasso, and was one of 10 children. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings, Thomas, Joseph, Josephine, Mary, Pasquale, Alice, Conchetta, and Anna. He is survived by his brother Andrew Grasso.
John grew up in Marlboro, and worked for the gas company. He worked in real estate for many years. He also started the 4H club of Berlin, Ma and went on to own many race horses. John was a member of the Marlboro city council and also ran for a seat on the state senate.
A funeral mass will be held on October 22, 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, 472 Lincoln St. Marlborough, Ma. Burial will be private.
The family wishes to invite all to join immediately following the mass for a memorial luncheon to be held at The Moose Lodge, 67 Fitchburg, St. Marlborough, Ma.
