Joan Tigchelaar: It is with a deep sadness of loss, a full richness of love for our mother and assurance of the final realization of her steadfast faith that this is written to mark her passing. Joan led a most interesting and fulfilled life as reflected in those characters, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as numerous close friends met in the framework of travels to many corners of the globe.

It is with a deep sadness of loss, a full richness of love for our mother and assurance of the final realization of her steadfast faith that this is written to mark her passing.
Joan led a most interesting and fulfilled life as reflected in those characters, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as numerous close friends met in the framework of travels to many corners of the globe.
Joan is predeceased by her husband Arnold and her daughter Carol.
Celebrating her life are her children Arnie, Sharon, Paul and Jennifer, her 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren (plus one soon to be) and many extended relatives and friends.

From the early days of playing hand and foot, and all those coffee chats with Arnie and Peter they found joy and pleasure with each others company.
