JILL PALMER McCONNEL, age 74, of Wayne, Pennsylvania, passed away at home on August 9, 2021. She was born in Boston, on June 4, 1947, the daughter of Lincoln and Jean (Smith) Palmer.

A stranger to no one, Jill embraced friendships wherever she went. She excelled at welcoming people into communities when they relocated or simply needed a “church home”. She lit up a room with her vibrant personality and jovial spirit. Jill cultivated beauty as an excellent gardener and homemaker. She treasured her family and friends, pursuing them with phone calls, letters, and visits as she was able. Fondly remembered as “Bunny” by her grandchildren, Jill’s zest for life and deep interest in their lives will be missed by all of her family and friends.

Survivors include her son, James (Page) McConnel; her daughter, Erin (Neville) Bonwit; her grandchildren, Elsie and Perry McConnel, Katherine, Lindsay, Natalie, Kolby, Caedmon and Ryan Bonwit; her brothers Stephen and Tony Palmer; and her many nieces and nephews. Jill was preceded in death by a son, Philip, and her parents.
