We created a GatheringUs memorial to celebrate the life of Janet Fox. Collecting your stories and memories here will offer us great comfort. As we plan virtual gatherings, we will post invites. Remember to RSVP to help us plan. Thank you for contributing to this lasting memorial.

We moved to Worthinton the first time in 1973. I met Janet through our neighborhood. We were together in a craft group in the neighborhood. We also became a part of a couples bridge group, all of us from the neighborhood. We moved to the East coast after 3 years. Three years later we were back in Worthington, in time for. Warren and our son to graduate. We then rejoined the bridge club. soon after Janet and Don bought their current house. It was after this that she and I started walking the bike trail to Antrim Lake, around the lake and back to Evening Street, where we would say goodbye until the next morning. We would meet about 8:00 and be back at 8:45! (We were young! Relatively speaking!) Later on, on rainy days, we would do 4 laps at Polaris Mall. Up until last year, when after a virus I was left with Fibromyalgia , we walked 4-5 mornings a week all those years. And we never stopped talking and laughing the whole time we walked. We went through family joys and family sorrows. I was with her at Riverside when the dictor told her about Don. She almost collapsed in my arms. She was with me, so closely, after our son died. We shared the joys of our sons weddings, and grandbabies! We did this over twenty some years together.
I shall never again have another friend like this! To my great sorrow.
