Jack Robert Tornio

January 20, 1933 - June 17, 2022

     Jack was born on January 20, 1933 in Barron Wisconsin, and passed away peacefully on Friday, June 17, 2022 at his home in Lincoln, CA.

     After leaving high school, Jack served his country in the Air Force. He also served time in the Army and in the Navy Reserve. Jack was an airline mechanic for many years before joining BART in 1977. He loved crossword puzzles, good books, traveling, and most of all, his family. Jack was a beautiful man with a wonderful and clever sense of humor. He took great pride in his family and will always be remembered for his ready wit and profound wisdom. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

     Jack was preceded in death by his lovely wife Violet of 66 years. He is survived by his beloved four children; Susan of Spokane WA, Douglas (Debbi) of Lincoln CA, Sharon (Dale) of Vallejo CA, and Daniel (Mae) of Rocklin CA. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Jack is also survived by his sister, Janet Broten of Chisholm MN.

Services will be held on June 27, 2022 at 10:00 am Jess C. Spencer Mortuary, 21228 Redwood Rd. Castro Valley, CA.
