Isabel DeHoyos Seaman, age 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at Vitas Hospice in San Antonio, Texas. She was born July 8, 1943, to Carlos DeHoyos Sr. and Carolina Olivares, both of Monterrey, Mexico. She was the oldest daughter of eight children: Carlos Jr. (deceased), George (deceased), Rudy (deceased), Margie (deceased), Hector, Bill, and Chiqui. She attended Sidney Lanier High School. She married Jack Seaman in 1971 and together they had four children: Aaron, Elizabeth, Adam, and Liza. They were married for twenty-three years. Isabel worked for American Airlines as an International Reservation agent for ten years, a job she loved very much. She is survived by her son Aaron Seaman and his daughters Ana Paola (10) and Maria Alejandra (7); daughter Elizabeth Franco, husband Norman, and children Isabella (24), Damian (20) and Aidan Rocco (16); son Adam Seaman, wife Bianca Mares, and children Carrie (5) and Dexter (2); and daughter Liza Seaman Dickinson, husband Andrew, and son Liam (6). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved like her own children.
A mass and memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2020, at 1:00 pm, and will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 2610 Perez Street. The mass and service are open to all family and friends of Isabel and her family.
