On November 21, 2021, God opened the gates of the mansion He has lovingly prepared for His dearly beloved daughter and faithful servant, Helen Napicol-Alcala.
Born on November 18, 1953 to parents Moises and Esperanza, Helen received a Bachelor of Education degree from Harris Memorial College in 1977 as well as a Doctor in Christian Education degree from the Covenant School of Ministry and Divinity.
She served as a Deaconess at Tangos United Methodist Church and St. Paul United Methodist Church.
She founded Kiddie Learning Center in 1986 – the first preschool in Dasmariñas, Cavite – which later became Torch of Wisdom Montessori. She also taught at the Potter of Clay Christian School.
In 2016, she established Brilliant Heights Scholastic Montessori with her husband and children where she stayed until her leave.
Whilst also talented in singing and playing the piano, teaching was her first love and the children she helped mold and nurture for more than 40 years will always have a part of her inside of them – the part that taught them to believe in themselves.
The light that she brought to the world was so great and we will always remember her kindness and thoughtfulness.
She temporarily leaves behind her husband Euclid, children Eunice and John Mark, son-in-law Aujen, and granddaughter Audrielle Erin who brought her immense joy in her final months.
She is the eldest of seven siblings Joven, Silfa, Debora, Nimfa, Orly (†), and Cherry.
She is now home and the bells of Heaven are ringing joyfully for a life so beautifully lived.

We are all but travelers, passing through this world. One door closes, another one opens. One chapter ends, another one begins.
On this side of the curtain we only see death, but on the other side, behind the scenes, there is an abundance of Life. Unimaginable beauty.
Rejoice in this thought, God is just on the other side of the curtain, waiting for us all to come Home to Him.
