Harry is survived by his wife, Florence and his children, Carol Ingersoll (late Bruce), Michael Corbett, Amy Corbett, and Molly Kruse (Michael), 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his brother, Tom (Linda).  Harry was a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College and later served as a trustee of the college.  He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy during WWII.  Because of Harry's deep love for chamber music, he initiated the formation in 1961 of the Pittsburgh Chamber Music Society (now Chamber Music Pittsburgh.)  After retirement, Harry served for 12 years as a tutor for the Literacy Council, working with people for whom English was a second language.  Harry was an avid and accomplished tennis player.  Another of his favorite pursuits was black and white photography.  He spent many hours in the dark room.  He believed that fate had dealt him more than his share of good things in life.  He felt blessed to have been born in this great country and to have been raised by fine parents, Harry Sr. and especially his mother, Henrietta.  Also, his three generations of healthy progeny, his business career and his friendships.  The single best example of his good fortune, however, was meeting Florence when both were stranded in a snowstorm.  For him, that was the brass ring.
