Harold Dean Gregory, Sr. , 79, died suddenly at his Modesto home August 23rd, 2019. His family moved to Woodland, California when he was 5 years old. He believed in hard work and was the owner, manager of several businesses in the Modesto, Stockton areas. He loved his country and proudly displayed an American flag in his yard. Harold Dean Gregory, Sr. , 79, died suddenly at his Modesto home August 23rd, 2019. His family moved to Woodland, California when he was 5 years old. He believed in hard work and was the owner, manager of several businesses in the Modesto, Stockton areas. He loved his country and proudly displayed an American flag in his yard. He was an avid gun collector. He loved taking motorcycle rides and frequently rode to Meridian, Idaho to hunt and fish. One of his favorite hobby was to write and sing country music. Many remember Harold carrying his guitar and simply start playing and singing. He wrote songs for almost all occasions and liked to see the smile on someone’s face as they listened. He was a gifted guitarist. He is survived by his son, Harold Dean Gregory Jr., wife Christine of Grimes, California, his daughter Debbie Saunders of Emmett, Idaho and grandchildren Roger Gregory of Modesto and James Gregory of Lodi, California. A private service will be held on Saturday, August 31st, 2019.
