It is with shattered hearts that we share the passing of our precious Mom, Grandma and most of all true friend, she is already missed so much more than I ever thought I could miss anyone. It is  impossible to attempt to define her in words . . . .. . . Mom was born July 19, to Lottie and Jake Harrill, and raised in Pleasanton California. Mom was one of 7 children, of which she was the last surviving. She had 3 brothers from the "same litter" as she put it, Terry Harrill (Sandy), Tommy Harrill, and Teddy Harrill. Two sisters and a brother from the "first litter" Melvin Ray "Jack" Furnas, Letha Kiser Diggins and Shirley Walker. Mom "sometimes" attended Amador High School, in Pleasanton, California and also "sometimes" attended Modesto High School in Modesto, California. She was the BEST Mother, friend, confidant and partner in crime ever to Steph, Kim and Kate. She was the most beloved, fun and memorable Grandmother of all to all of her grandchildren. The great times that they had "going fishing" gathering walking sticks, so many fun memories. She is very loved and will be missed by many. Mom told us  stories of her youth and friends our entire lives, like cruising back in the day, on east 14th in Hayward and on 10th and 11th street in Modesto. She told stories about Tasajara Rd and the "seven sisters" in the foothills of Pleasanton, CA. Funny stories of "snipe" hunting and so many happy times. Mom really was the most honest and trustworthy human being that I have ever known. Her integrity and character were like no other. She was trusted by people to do their personal as well as business banking throughout the years. She managed and collected rents as well as doing painting and maintenance on 30 or so rental duplexes in Sandy, UT.
  Mom moved to Utah in 1980, where she continued to make more friends and share her amazing sense of humor. I don't know of anyone that didn't love her once they met and got to know her. Mom was so much fun to be around, she really did have the greatest sense of humor, we laughed until we cried too many times to count. Mom touched so very many peoples lives. I recall her doing things like, giving half of her dishes and linens to people so that they could start new, taking meals and groceries to people that would otherwise go without. She did end of life care for her friends ailing parents all the while working and caring for us.  She was always there to help people move, help with rides to and from work. Mom was an amazing Mother, Grandma, friend, home maker, cook and so much more. Family was always so important to Mom. She loved being a grandmother and made many memories that are hopefully shared and carried throughout their lifetimes. There were many family gatherings and holidays with our aunts and uncles and cousins when we were younger, before leaving California. One of Mom's very most favorite things to do was going to Wendover to play the slot machines. She was a true player and a multiple jackpot winner. Mom worked multiple jobs, many times more than one job at a time, to make sure that Kim and I never went without.  She  worked at Modesto City Schools, she worked at many hotels and motels, Tri-Valley and John Ingalls and many other places in Modesto. In Utah she worked at Doxey Hatch Medical center for over 16 years, she worked at Alta View Hospital when she retired. Mom made friends every where she went, although selectively. Many times after work, when Kim and I were very young, going out and working in the orchards and taking in peoples ironing to earn a little more.
 She raised us to be kind, honest, hard working and strong women, qualities that she showed us by example every day, our entire lives. I have never met, and I know that I will never meet another soul like my Mom. She is survived and loved by many family and friends.
 Our every day lives are so much better for having you. The memories, the many laughs, the lessons, the stories that you shared will be carried on by those that were so fortunately blessed to know you. Lost without you Mom. WE LOVE YOU MOM AND WILL MISS YOU UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN  rest easy Momma <3
