Out of all my friends he is the only one who asks me regularly how my wife and kids are doing and is genuinely interested in hearing about them. That is because family is so important to him. He always tells me about his wife and kids too. All 5 of them. He has never made any distinction between the ones that are biologically his and those that are not. They are all his kids and he loves them equally. He is so proud to talk about what they are doing and all of their accomplishments. Gary is the kind of guy you can always pick back up with even if you haven't seen him in a while. He is so easy going and comfortable to be with. He's the kind of guy that you figure you will know and keep in touch with your whole life. It makes no sense to me that he left the earth so yong, but I am hopeful that one day our souls cross paths again and we can once again pick up where we left off. less
Lisa, my heart goes out to you and the kids. Gary was one of the most wonderful and kind people I have ever met. He did a lot for me personally, and for the Soccer Board. I will miss him dearly as well. Keeping you and the kids in my prayers.
