Frankie Lee Crafton was born on October 23, 1919 to Arthur and Fannie Crafton in Indianapolis, Indiana. She had two brothers, Arthur “Bud” and Howard “Howdy”, whom she loved dearly. In later years she shared fond memories from her childhood, and a spirit of adventure and love for life stayed with her throughout almost a century. For the past thirty years, Frankie has lived with her daughter, Judi Beal, and a year ago she moved with Judi to live in North Carolina. She battled Lewy Body dementia for two years, never losing her quick wit or the love and appreciation she had for her large family. On the morning of Sunday, August 18, 2019, Frankie died peacefully in her home. She put all her faith in Jesus Christ and is now united with Him for eternity.
Frankie’s family plans to hold a memorial service in Indiana sometime this Fall.

In lieu of flowers monetary gifts can be sent via Paypal to elizabethdaming@yahoo.com. If you would prefer to mail a gift or card, please send us a message and we will send you a physical address. Monetary gifts will be collected and donated to a local dementia support group that was enormously helpful to those of us caring for Frankie over the past two years. Lewy Body Dementia is the second most common type of dementia after Alzheimer’s Disease, and many are still struggling to find the information, support, and treatment options they need.
