She soon went from client to a dear friend and soon became a second mom to me. She advised me on my dating life and scolded me when I did “stupid” emotional things. She was clearly one of a kind❤️ less

Dot had a Halloween party for all of us. She turned off all of the lights, and passed around spaghetti for brains, a cabbage for a head, and grapes for eyes, along with other various creepy things. I will never forget this, and have used these Halloween ingenious tricks on my kids. less

All the amazing river trips where we slept on a blow up mattress in the kitchen and she made sure she always curled her hair before we went out on the water. The night cruises were some if my favorite nights full of great drinks and so much laughter. I was so happy that she was able to be a part of my children’s lives. She was there for so many milestones in my life and made me always feel loved just as I was even when I didn’t feel like I was enough. I imagine her now with her glass of Chandon, hair and make up just right and a beautiful outfit sitting with Grampa Dick and his 7 & 7 looking down at all of us smiling and giving a toast to all the wonderful moments they gave everyone they met 💕 less
