I see who I want to be
In my daughter's eyes
In my daughter's eyes
Everyone is equal
Darkness turns to light
And the world is at peace
This miracle God gave to me
Gives me strength when I am weak
I find reason to believe
In my daughter's eyes
And when she wraps her hand around my finger
How it puts a smile in my heart
Everything becomes a little clearer
I realize what life is all about
It's hanging on when your heart is had enough
It's giving more when you feel like giving up
I've seen the light
It's in my daughter's eyes
In my daughter's eyes
I can see the future
A reflection of who I am and what will be
And though she'll grow and someday leave
Maybe raise a family
When I'm gone I hope you'll see
How happy she made me
For I'll be there
In my daughter's eyes less

our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

I'm going to miss you a lot, I remember you were always asking me how Eve is behaving because you cared for us, thanks for everything, for your love, for your love for Hispanics and how you enjoyed eating the two congregations together, thanks for getting married, thanks for all.
What would I say for greeting you last Sunday and giving you a hug less

My dad was the pastor at Sublette, and D.L. was a close friend in the youth group with my brothers (Jim and Gary). Many laughs about the "boys" trying to play a special for church, someone messing up, and the group dissolving into laughter right there on the platform. My path crossed again with Don and Sheila when Sheila and I started the MBA program at MNU on the same day. We became fast friends, presentation partners, and accountability partners. Love this family!! less
You would think I would have more pictures since he was at our house all the time, but this one is the best. He just pronounced us married, then said our name wrong. It was just so funny! He had a great sense of humor ❤️
This was when you helped pack me up from my dorm one summer in college. You had just done a cleanse and were “feeling good.” You’ve always been so good at being present through all of life’s many transitions.

It breaks my heart he won’t get to know you across time (it’s one of the reasons I had kids sooner rather than later), but I am so grateful he had the opportunity to know you at such a young age. Your connection was strong! less

It is one of the most precious moments that I've had with my Dad. He was nervous beforehand because he doesn't know how to dance. I said all we have to do is sway back and forth and tell each other how much we love one another. And we did just that. I told him how I am who I am because of him, and it was hard to find a husband because nobody ever compared to him. We both laughed and cried together expressing how much we loved each other. I could have stayed in that moment forever and will now cherish it more deeply. less
