Dina Kirven was born on February 2, 1977 in Long Beach, CA. Dina was full of life and always made the people around her laugh and smile. Dina truly and wholeheartedly loved everyone and she was a friend to all. Every room she walked into was lit up by her humorous personality and everlasting faith. Dina loved God and always believed in God’s promise; He never failed her. In addition to her love for God, She was a HUGE fan of music, especially R&B from the 80s and 90s. Everywhere she went, you could always count on her for a tune or spiritual guidance. 

In May of 2001, Dina gave birth to her first child, a daughter, Destiny Kirven, and in September of 2004 she gave birth to her second child, a son, Desmond Kirven. Dina loved being a mother and supported her children in all they did. 

Though she struggled with health issues from a young age, Dina always found a way to be positive through all her illnesses. She constantly worked at weight loss, focused on natural healing remedies and even beat the odds by receiving dialysis treatment for over six years. She always kept a smile on her face and never fell short of being a great friend, sister, aunt, and mother. 

Dina Kirven passed away at the age of 45 on July 16, 2022.

She is survived by her children Destiny and Desmond; her siblings Denise, Darrell, Dion, David, and Diane; her many cousins; and her many nieces and nephews including three grandnieces and three grandnephews.
