OBITUARY
I met Denise Howard through Charlotte Community Health Clinic when she became one of our Family Nurse Practitioners. What a dear person she was! Faithful, loving, great sense of humor, committment to the community she served and certainly a life-long learner (as evidenced by completeing her Doctorate while working full-time). What a dear person she was! Faithful, loving, great sense of humor, committment to the community she served and certainly a life-long learner (as evidenced by completeing her Doctorate while working full-time). One day I was at work lamenting that I did not have a dress to wear to a formal occasion - and that I hated to shop. Denise said - I have one and brought in this beautiful purple formal dress. When I see me in that dress I think of her generosity. I miss her spirit yet know that all that she has done, said and shared with us will continue to be a part of us.
