I was thinking about my grandmothers and all the stories of their lives and the lives of my parents they used to tell me. They would go grab a photo album and tell stories of friends, family, jobs, school, war, love and so much more I loved it. So… I am going to create a memory book of my mom for me and later for her grandchildren to read. I say later cause knowing my mom some stories may have to wait a few years, course I already told one kid about his granny skiing naked. We would love your stories written down you don’t have to read them, I can put them up at the event for all to read or I just keep them if you don’t want them shared. Same with pictures any and all ages. You can text, email, mail me or there will be a scanner there also. The pictures and stories depending on your preference will be for the event and me or just me. I will not be posting stories or pictures that are given to me. If you know some stories about me you can add those also I promise no matter how embarrassing I’ll keep them. The room will be open from 10am-about 9pm there will be food and drinks I’ll have more info on that as time goes on. However Dee would not want us sitting around all day singing kumbayah. So the reasons we chose flagstaff Dee loved the river, desert, archeology, astrology, and wide open areas to name a few. We get all of that right here so depending on weather there is the Grand Canyon and/or Grand Canyon IMAX, Lowell Observatory, and old town area all very close. As head count starts coming in and I get food planned out for the room I will look more deeply into activities maybe even group activities if people seem interested. Suggestion, input, feedback all welcomed. If I plan things right stories will start about an hour after the bar opens later in the evening. That said please stay at the hotel or somewhere or have a DD.
