Dawn was a beloved mother, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. She loved her family and children with more fervor than she was comfortable showing. In this love was also a very strong sense of pride and accomplishment. She was a mother who loved her children no matter what. Her family meant everything to her.
Dawn loved games with friends and family. It never mattered what game it was, though she was always up for a game of bowling and solitaire. Her competitiveness drove her to the top of the score board at many a family gathering and fueled her cheering at sporting events for her children. Dawn was the sweetest person that always had to be right. She also loved movies. Whether it was watching them or discussing them she had a passion for all things cinema. Especially for Harrison Ford and Johnny Depp. One of her favorite series was the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Besides the story and the actors, Dawn loved the physical setting of the ocean, sun, ships, and beaches. She loved to travel on cruise ships for the same reasons. Dawn also loved puzzles and mind games. Attempting to strengthen her mind was a constant goal for her. She was always striving for a better life, within herself and for her family. She supported and encouraged their decisions and gave advice when needed. She was the best listener when there was a problem and gave the tightest and longest hugs that she could.
Friends and family are invited to stop by and celebrate Dawn’s life with her immediate family on October 7th, 2021 at any point between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm at the Sage Cottage (97 Ward Rd Adairsville, GA 30103). They will be celebrating with fond memories and a small selection of dessert finger foods.
