A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00pm, Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home and Crematory with visitation from 2:00pm until 3:00pm. He is survived by his children: John Thomas Goodling, Peyton Elizabeth Goodling, William David Goodling, and their mother Sarah Goodling; his mother: Georgia Goodling; siblings: Robert (Sue) Goodling, Michael Goodling; nieces and nephews: Megan Goodling, Riley Goodling, Britt Goodling, Christopher Goodling; and a host of cousins. Mr. Goodling is preceded in death by his father, Dr. John Goodling. Mr. Goodling was a loving father, an extremely talented engineer, and a great friend to everyone. We will never forget how much he loved to fix up his boat and take his friends and family on rides weekend after weekend, and we hope that more great memories will live on through this page.
