      Damao Chu passed away on June 8, 2022 in his home in South Africa. In his last moments he was surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Janine Chu, and his four children, Kaydene Chu, Tyla Chu, Leah Chu, and Luke Chu.         Damao was born on August 16 1965, in Taichung, Taiwan, which is where he grew up.
