Burke has many more family members that will be missing him from their lives
Our first meeting was unconventional at best- friends and family know of our past struggles and how we turned our lives around – Burke was very proud of this life accomplishment – Most people do not recover from that road we were on much less thrive and provide so well for their families
He was a wonderful husband father Father-in Law and Baca (that was Alivia’s name for him)
I cannot say things were always perfect because at times they were downright scary
He worked very hard to provide for our family and for that I am eternally grateful
He put up a Hell of a Fight trying to beat this cancer- When we received the information that Chemo was not working as expected- we decided to make sure he went to see his family in 2 different states. With COVID and his declining health the journey was difficult – but worth every step. When we arrived back in Denver on Nov 3 2020 as were sitting in the car waiting to leave the airport he looked at me and said “We did what we said we would do, now I am ready to go” No further explanation was needed.
Thank you friends and family who made this Last Journey Possible, with your generosity and support. Car Hauling was the other LOVE of his life (besides me) hahaha He would be on the road for weeks or months at a time working to provide for our family. To all his CAR HAULING friends: Nate-Jesse-Marty-Billy Wilson-Dallas and many more Thanks for having his back and becoming buddies. He loved the friendships with you all
Burke -Give Gpa Gary a big hug (he will be so glad to see you)
Say Hello to Toni and Bill (his step mom and brother who also lost their lives this year
Give Noel (our fat Chihuahua) a big steak
2020 has taken so much from so many Please be kind to one another as you never know the journey someone is on
