Bryan Matthew Smith age 61, passed away October 1st, 2020, from complications of Pulmonary Fibrosis
He was born in Greenville Mississippi Air Force Base on August 24th, 1959.
He was the son of Lt. Col. Carl Melvin Smith and Donna June Smith. He had one sister Shelley Buchanan, husband Mike, daughter Molly, and son Reid of Manhattan Kansas.
He was married to Diane Smith and had two sons, Christopher Smith who was still born, and Bryan Carl Smith of Energy, Illinois.
Bryan M. Smith grew up in Florida as a military child. While in Florida he learned to scuba dive, catch lobster, and water ski.
In high school he played football, and was a first string defensive back on the championship Kubasaki high school team.
Bryan M. Smith loved life and always lived life to the fullest!
He played hard, worked hard, and enjoyed life!
He was kind hearted and knew no stranger.
He had empathy for others and had a lot of friends!
He loved dogs, he leaves behind Bubby, Balto, and Ellie, if he could have he would have had a house full!
In lieu of the service, our family decided to transport his body to St. Louis Mo. for transplant research to help students in future training in the medical field.
