He quickly became a father figure and mentor to me and my family,... moreI met Brian about ten years ago when I was the owner of The Blonde Strawberry, a coffee shop in Wallowa. Brian would come in every day and we would share stories and conversation. He quickly became a father figure and mentor to me and my family, sharing dinners and telling us of all his travels and the people that he had met along the way. I learned so much from his calm, kind and generous demeanor. After I sold the coffee shop Brian and I would still stay in touch, meeting up for breakfast at the Red Rooster or for donuts and coffee at Cloud 9 Bakery. My heart hurts knowing that he is no longer here. I love you Brian, I miss you, thank you. less
