Mrs. Betty Lou Daniels age 82, of Trotwood, Ohio, passed away Friday, June 25, 2010 at her residence. Born December 11, 1927 in Faison, North Carolina to the late Amos and Julia Smith Daniels. Betty moved to Dayton in 1965, where she spent the rest of her life as a mother, friend, and caretaker to many. Born December 11, 1927 in Faison, North Carolina to the late Amos and Julia Smith Daniels. Betty moved to Dayton in 1965, where she spent the rest of her life as a mother, friend, and caretaker to many. The memories of Betty will be mourned by her children, Betty Jean Bell (James Frank), George Austin (Wendy), Julia Bryant (Shelton) & Brenda Twyman, Sandra Dixon, Jackie Dailey (Walter), Rueben Gooch (Anne), Brigitte Carter (Clifton), Ricky Gooch (Denise) & Michael Melvin; 32 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; extended family, Van & Beth Laycox, David & Brenda Roseman, Robert & Barbara Shinn, Glenn Hall, Debbie Jamison & Aileen Tucker; special friend, Ted Pinckney; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, July 2, 2010 at the HOUSE OF WHEAT Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Pastor Jamison Hunter officiating. Interment Jeffersonview Cemetery.
