Barb was the irresistible force, or maybe a relative of the energizer bunny. For most of her life she was intense! Intensely active, intensely interested (and interesting), intensely involved. She had to be 65-70 (?) and still going on camping trips,...  more

Barb was my fifth grade teacher in Falls Church, Virginia. That was the year my father died, 1960, a horrible year. Barb aways had the right things to do and say, and as a neighbor, she and her family were very supportive to me, my mother and sisters. ...  more

They don't make 'em like Barb any more! She was spunk and sparkle and special. She brightened my day every time I saw her.

I enjoyed Barb each time I got to see her, which was most often in the early days of setting up Molly's and my office building over a decade ago. She was a bright spirit and I thought highly of her. Thinking of you all with love.

My favorite days to visit P & A’s preschool classroom was when Barb was there. She was my kind of woman…a goal for myself as I get grayer and more bawdy. It was impossible to watch her in action with a frown on your face, as her personality was so...  more

I met Barb only in the last five years, but was able to be with her quite a bit over that time. In every setting she was in she stood out. And she redefined my conception of senescence. I am thankful for every moment that my children got to be with Barb...  more
