Artie was a professional driver with incredible expertise and knowledge of the entire tri-state area. He was the original Google maps. You could be lost anywhere and call Artie, and he would direct you home.
Artie was a family man. He loved nothing more than spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and pets. He enjoyed all sports, especially baseball (GO YANKEES), football, and golf. He never missed a sporting event for his children or grandchildren, and was the most animated cheerleader!
Artie cherished his relationships with his siblings and in-laws, and was blessed to have friends that were like family. He had long lasting friendships that spanned over 50 years. Artie loved spending time with the people he cared about, and shared amazing times of barbecues, pool parties, vacations, golfing, concerts, games, and shared family times that created memories we will all cherish forever.
Artie is survived by his loving wife, Stefanie; children Jessica and Julio, Stacy and Clay, and Caryl; grandchildren Alex, Nina, James and Owen; siblings Peggy and Greg, and Buddy and Anita; and in-laws. He is preceded by his mother Yolanda, father Frank, and sister Nina.
Because we cannot gather in person, a virtual service will be held on Monday, December 21st 2020 at 5:00pm through Gatheringus.com. Information will be updated as the event date grows closer.

Tears are welling in my eyes. I met Artie almost 50 years ago. I was introduced as Patty Savage and from that day on that’s what he called me with a big grin. Not Just Patty, Patty Savage . I loved his infectious smile. It brings joy to me now as I think of his memory. A man bursting with laughter and great stories. A family man who adored his beautiful wife Stefanie and their girls.
Artie has left us all too soon. Memories of what a beautiful soul he was fills my heart .

Artie was my friend for the last 10 years. He drove me to the airport more times than I can count. He always talked about his family with so much love and passion. Not that many men leave such an impact like Artie did.

I have a million stories but, this one is clear on what a special person he was.
JFK...at night, he had waited 4 hours, I had flown 8 hrs with the dog. They evacuate the airport as I landed and kept us on the plane forever. Artie, waiting outside at arrivals and they want him to drive off since they were evacuating the airport. He basically told the cops to go....( u can imagine)
As I finally got into his car, I realize, he is the ONLY car on the airport road. He refused to leave me there! His kindness and heart will always be remembered. (he would tell the story so much better than me):)
A few other thoughts I think of when remembering Artie. A great friend, master story teller, love of Staten Island and NYC sports, Netflix, loved to laugh and always knew where the best pizza, hot dogs and bagels were.
Will truly miss him. less

Artie also treated my family like his own the BBQS, Stones shows or going out to dinner, just loved to be with STINGO. WE LOVE AND MISS YOU TERRIBLY - Steve
I've know Artie almost as long as i know Stef , (which is a long time) from when I first met him at the Caton Ave train station. We have all had such great times together from hanging out at St Pauls Place, of course listening to the Stones, going to Bonapartes, Nino's his favorite places back then. He was such a great family man and loved his friends too, having so many. This is funny, the way my dog Buffy didn't like anyone except me and Artie, (Buffy knew a good person when he saw one) he always got a kick about that (you can see them on the couch together in the picture I posted). I will always have such fond memories of Artie and will miss him always. He was the best! - Caryn less

Tommy Jordan aka T-Bone
Spent time together since we were young
There’s no telling the things we done
The first time for this
The last time for that
It wasn’t where we were
It was where we were at
Old Baseball Cap
Roll me a Bat
The smile on your face
Those you embraced
Remember the good times
Forget all the rest
Life goes on but, never feels the same
I hear that song, I think of your name
Felt like family when we were together
Through thick and thin not only fair weather
We laughed and cried didn’t think it would end
Now, it’s time
I have to say goodbye to a friend less

He always made me feel welcome and part of his friends and family.
I have many enjoyable memories of playing Pong with him and his friends (when they first got one of those old time video games). Also there was a memorable game of Trivial Pursuit when I knew the answer to a baseball question (it was a bunt by the way) and his expression and reaction were priceless.
When I got married he and Stef generously lent us their video camera so we could record our wedding and of course there were the endless parties and gatherings where Bob and I were always welcome.
He was the kind of person that would make everyone laugh so hard that they’d end up crying.
Artie was such a character. He knew how to be serious at times, how to have a good time, and how to stand up for what he believed in.
More than anything, we'll always miss the family time that we had with him. less
My dad lived for his grandkids.. A day in the pool, a baseball game, sneaking them a cookie or cooking them a juicy steak. This still feels so unreal that my boys will miss out on all the fun and love my dad had in store for them ❤️
These are some photo’s from my mom’s collection, that remind me of all the great memories I have with Artie.

My mom always told me she always felt like Artie was the Big brother she never had. She would tell me about how Artie would always look out for her back in the “neighborhood”
He continued to look out for my mom, my dad and me and I am sure still is. less
