When my brother brought her to meet the family before they married I was in awe of how a woman who was abandoned by worthless parents and raised by abusive grandparents could have a heart so full of love and caring. I watched her even with no hearing be able to communicate with the street kids to keep them off drugs and out of gangs. I was also had the priviledge of being present when Mark and her sailed to Cuba to take medical supplies to Cuba. The look on her face as she saw the island for the first time, (which was her dream), is something I will always cheerish, along with her favorite saying when things were bad or wrong or even about her tumor "IT IS WHAT IT IS". I will miss having her in my family.
