Andrew was a hilarious person, son of Bruce Gant and Doris Gant, brother to Amanda Gant and Devon Gant, long-time partner of Vaida Kazlauskaite, dog-dad to Alpha, and friend to many including Josh Barragan, Adam Hosko, Anthony Mathis, and David Budke.
He is known for his lifetime love of football, which he got from his dad. He played in the front yard since he was 5, and was the ringleader for organizing pickup games in the neighborhood from elementary to high school. He spent his early days watching Price is Right and camping with the Webelos in Boys Scouts. He graduated from Cocoa High. He received his Bachelor's degree in business administration from Metropolitan State University in Minnesota in August 2021.
He worked at the best restaurants and hotels around, which is a testament to his leadership, friendliness, and commitment to service. From the Mango Tree (which I'm sure was the nicest restaurant in Cocoa Beach), the Wynne Hotel on the Strip, Top Golf (where they wanted him to move to DC to open their new branch, but he decided to stick by Vaida), the Las Vegas Golf Club, and most recently Gordon Ramsey's Hell's Kitchen - he has made friends at each place, and always brought a smile or a laugh to people's faces.
His last FB post was about his love for his mom:
