I don't have a single memory from my childhood that doesn't include her. A pure soul without a mean bone in her body, Amy was truly the kindest person I have ever known. She was impossible not to love. Her trademark laugh was contagious and always cheered me up, even in my darkest moments. I'll remember that laugh for the rest of my life. Against all odds, Amy and I stayed close throughout the years and remained in each other’s lives, for which I am beyond grateful. It’s impossible to imagine my world without her. I will never understand why things like this happen to people like Amy. It makes no sense. All I know is that she made this world a far better place just by being in it. She was taken from us way too soon and words cannot express how much I will miss her. I love you forever, Amy Leigh.

She was two years ahead of in high school and then many years later we became colleagues and very good friends. We shared many interest, especially our love for the “ Homicide Detective “ and almost ever show on ID. Amy was indeed of pure heart and very passionate about those close to her. You will be missed tremendously. My deepest condolences to your family. Love you always Amy. less
