Adi Kazali was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather.  He was born August 15th, 1935 in Padang, Indonesia.  After marrying in 1965, Adi and his wife Santy began their life together having two daughters and two sons.  They came to Santa Barbara in 1983 with their four children and started a family business in hotels.

He and Santy lived in Santa Barbara for the rest of his life, happily spending his days playing tennis, swimming, traveling, and maintaining the family business.  Adi enjoyed sharing large home-cooked Indonesian meals with family and friends from near and far.  Always playful, silly, and easy going, his family was his inspiration and priority, and he leaves a wealth of wonderful memories for us to treasure.  He especially loved each of his seven grandchildren and spoiled them endlessly.

He passed away May 4, 2020 after a year-long struggle with multiple myeloma.  As he wanted, he was at home surrounded by his family: his wife, children, their spouses, and his grandchildren.
