OBITUARY
No space is sufficient to begin to summarize everything Abby meant to me and how much she enriched life, so instead I'd like to share a story that makes me smile.   Abby made me laugh a lot.  Usually it was something small and silly, a rude question in a funny voice or a crass comment at a fancy dinner.  At parties and museums, she often lamented my inability to gossip in French.  I still think that would have eventually gotten us in...  see more

    Abby,
Je me souviens, Abby, de la joie qui envahie la maison à l’annonce de ton arrivée au monde, de ce moment de grâce qui suspend toutes les émotions et convulse les cœurs.

Maybe one day I'll know what to write here but until that happens I share a photo at Jasmine Nears' bachelorette party where Abby recognized Jesse Jackson Jr at the spa and had to get a picture with his particularly gross feet. Elle va me manquer pour toujours
