I met Liz in graduate Business Stats class at U of F. She sat in the front of the room, I sat in the back. We connected thanks to Denise who I had met over the weekend and went to high school with Liz. Liz sought me out after class and we became friends immediately. The rest is history. She was smart, strong, fun, full of energy, never held a grudge, so generous with her time and always woke up with a smile on her face. I loved travelling with her and visits to Chicago and DC. One of my favorite trips with her was to find "Moon River" from the classic song with the same name, that has to be the most played tune at weddings. I love the song and have to say the river, just outside of Savanna, GA, is not quite as beautiful as the song. Liz was a good sport for going with me.

She was my cheerleader, sometimes nurse, a friend with a heart of gold - a true gift from God, filled with so much love This is a loss that I cannot accept quite yet. I keep waiting for her to call and say " April Fools."
