Papa, still unable to grasp that for the first time, I will be going home and not see you at the arrival gate. I know though that instead of waiting for me to arrive, you will be with me in my journey home. I thank you for everything, for being a family man, for giving me the wings to fly but ready to help me if I fall. Thank you for instilling in us our Christian faith and for never failing to make us feel loved and supported, you never changed in the way you loved us from childhood to adulthood. I will miss you so much, you are leaving us a big hole in our hearts but we will be okay. We will pick up the pieces one day at a time. We’ve got a good support system of family and friends.
