I feel blessed that Grandma was able to hold each of my babies; and that even as her memory faded she still maintained her friendly and loving demeanor with that wit that just made her so endearing. I learned from her to have a grateful heart and that if I ever feel sorry for myself to just think of the women crossing the country in covered wagons. I will always cherish my memories of my Grandma and Grandpa Terry and their special home that was filled with faith, love and lots of banana bread.
