Carol not only loved and supported her own grandkids, she also adopted mine, and became our Honorary Australian Grandma, cheering them on in their sporting endeavours. Whenever I posted a pic of my boy training or in his gym gear, she would comment, "Oh he's so handsome", and I cried last time I posted one, because she wasn't there to say it. I will always treasure this photograph Kelly sent me, of Aussie Grandma with her flag. I'm so sad that we didn't get to travel to Phoenix in July 2020 for my daughter's gymnastics comp, as we were going to have a grand hug and celebration. You're always in my heart Carol, and I'm grateful for the memories.
