Full transparency, my heart broke when I heard that Gail had transitioned. I know it's the circle of life and all, and I believe she has been joyously welcomed and reunited with our fam that have already transitioned, but for me, it makes my world a little dimmer. I'm sending virtual hugs to Leslie, Toni, her grands, great grands and everyone who was blessed enough to get to know and experience her. She was sweet, gentle, funny and oh so chic and ladylike.

As as a kid, (and in my old age) she always made me feel special. She had a way of smiling (all in her eyes) at you that made you feel like you were the most important person in the whole world. I can hear her calling me Sweetie and even now it makes my heart ping. She leaves behind a rich and beautiful legacy in her offspring, and tons of beloved memories and moments that I'm sure none of us will soon (if ever) forget.
