Mana was a great friend for many years, my heart hurts knowing that she is gone. We are both no nonsense kind of people, which is probably why we hit if off immediately. We had amazing chemistry. We biked hundreds of miles, taken several trips, celebrated holidays, and birthdays, eaten at so many restaurants, and supported each other through ups and downs of life. I think she is the only other adult that was as excited as I was when we found out our cabin had bunk beds (or as she said “bunker beds”) on one of our trips. Her translations were hilarious at times, we were goofy and laughed. I have too many memories to ever articulate in one sitting, but like everyone else has commented; she is an amazing woman that will forever be missed. May we meet again one day my friend, you meant more to me than you will ever know.
