As I sit here thinking of what to write, I am beyond baffled. Mr. Henderson was my AP Human Geography teacher my freshman year, but that is not where our relationship ended. He was my advisor for Thespians, and over the years he became a mentor and friend. From sitting at Districts for hours and him not telling us our scores (he knew but he always wanted us to be surprised), to traveling to Tampa to let us compete at states, he was always there supporting us. Mr. Henderson was such an inspiring person, and he was truly one of a kind. He cared about all of his students, and he wanted each of them to pursue their dreams and passions. I will miss him tremendously, but I am so thankful that I had the privilege of knowing him. I hope he’s at peace drinking a Diet Snapple and watching Rent on repeat.
