*Dr Fadekemi*, was an active SCMer in UI (Ibadan) who served to stabilise the growth of SCM LAUTECH as a SeF.

▶️ *Role In SCM Lautech*
She was Choice Chairperson for our fellowship a few times, She participated in some induction programmes in d early days of SCM Lautech fellowship.

She was also a regular speaker in our meetings.

*Aunty Fade*, as was fondly called by most SCMers took SCMers in Lautech like siblings. She would rise up to help any SCMer in need. She defended, Stood up for SCMers in Lautech.

She helped us navigate some hurdles of accessing the school library.

Her office was always filled with SCMers who came for counseling or other assistance.

She looked so strong, assuring, very supportive and always cheerful.

Never a dull moment with her..
You would even wonder if she ever gets angry..

Her good dress sense and elegant walking style was reminiscent of a Virtuous woman.

▶️ *Career*
She worked passionately in the school Library. She also taught some courses. She later on became a successful Library Management Consultant.

She eventually left LAUTECH for UI to better her career in Library Management.

Her famous slogan *_Wealth is in the Reading..._* was the theme of her campaign to children on the advantages of Library usage

In the later part of her years, she became a scholar in USA while she still served as an Associate Professor in UI.

She is survived by her Teenage Daughter.

*Rest On Sister Fadekemi, till we meet to part no more on the resurrection morning*
