The day before Mom died, she sent the following text and attached picture to several family members:

"The tall skinny cactus put out a chute and bloomed!!"

This cactus, which had been with Mom and Dad for over 20 years, had never bloomed before! I know it was a gift to her, from where ever you believe life's gifts come from.
