John introduced me to my husband Paul in 1979. The story goes that they had a bet who would ask me out first. John lost but our friendship was never lost! We loved John with all our heart. He was the most irreverent, authentic, sarcastic, loyal, generous, unique friend one could ever wish for. When we moved back to Boston 6 years ago, one of the best things, is that we could be reunited and spend more time with John. We had so many great dinners, laughs; he came to events with us and we celebrated many extremely important times together. I feel so grateful for our reunion.
