Diane was one of my best friends as we grew up in Hartland and then as we went off to Michigan State living with two of our high school friends, Leslie and Jill. I always remember her as a fun loving person and this picture was taken of the four of us when we reunited for a class reunion. She was always the glamorous one with her long blond hair and bright green eyes! She loved to have a good time.. Although she was dealing with many mental and physical problems, she always was thinking of others and doing what she could to help them. Diane was my maid of honor at our wedding almost 50 years ago and, although we lost touch for the past few years, she still holds a special spot in my heart. She will be remembered fondly.
