Alison and I were roommates at Roanoke College, sorority sisters, and we traveled abroad together during the summer of 2000. She was such a great travel companion and friend. She was a quietly passionate person and a joy to be around. This picture is from our trip to England. We talked some poor guy into taking us punting. He did the work while we relaxed!
