Yes, most of your staff call you boss but you were in fact a great leader. You were the one who brought me to Manila for the first time. It was also my first plane ride and you made sure I was able to ride the mrt/lrt for the first time as well. Thank you for trusting me enough to represent the organization twice abroad and for the many occasions you have allowed us to figure out things on our own, make mistakes and learn. Thank you for your words of encouragement, criticisms and for showing us how to enjoy work with passion and compassion. I have learned so much from you. Your leadership, work ethics, patience and tutelage have polished me as a development worker. You have contributed so much to my growth- personally and professionally. I am honored and grateful to have worked with you. Thank you also for helping Batad when typhoon Yolanda hit us in 2013. You may be gone, but will never be forgotten. You are not just a boss but a great mentor, friend and maninoy. Rest in peace, for you have done a truly remarkable job which positively changed lives and communities. less

Sometime in 2006 when our office was in Molo, several of us gathered for lunch including boss Chito. He eats fast and so finished ahead of us. Without any plan to leave while we were still eating, he shared some thoughts regarding our religious beliefs until he talked about the movie Da Vinci Code. I haven’t seen that film but because I attended an adult catechesis with our Parish Priest, I get interested!
Ms. Elizabeth Ibanez I can truly relate to your debate with boss ‘till 2:30 in the morning haha! Both of us didn’t noticed that slowly our companions were gone and only the two of us were left. It was almost five o’clock in the afternoon! When I realized I simply sighed oh DA CAT! Let’s go back to work. (Da for Da Vince and Cat for Cachito)
Thank you for those memories boss! It reminds me of the day you challenged my faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. less
